Setting the Stage:
Since I believe that photographs are important in documenting your life and family's history I start with a consultation prior to the scheduled session. I prefer to have the consultation in person so that we can all meet and start to build our relationship. If children are to participate I would also like to introduce myself to them so they will feel more relaxed and familiar with me when it is time for your photography session. During the consultation we will discuss the kind of images you are interested in, clothing options, locations, costs and review the paperwork.
Careful planning is the key to memorable photographs, so relax, have fun and let me capture some of the best moments in your life.
Taking Center Stage:
I focus on shooting on-location, outdoors, which can be a park, beach or even your backyard. Shooting outdoors creates the most stunning and visually exciting environments for photographing people. The warmth of the outdoors enhances the relationships between people.
The session typically lasts 1-2 hours depending on many factors such as the number of persons in the photographs and the conditions of the weather. Being a mother I understand that if children are involved we might have to leave room for snacks or to run around and get out some energy.
Taking A Bow
Proofs will be ready 2-3 weeks after your session in an online, password protected, viewing and ordering gallery. You will be able to share your proofs with anyone you would like. Through your proofing site you will be able to place all of your print orders.
I am always available and encourage you to discuss what you intend to order so that I can make sure the image(s) you receive is of the utmost quality.
Take the time to enjoy the process beacuse your images are a gift to yourself and your family for generations to come.
